Eligibility & Application

TAG Academy Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible:

Students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grader are eligible to apply
Must have a grade average of 80% or higher
Must score in the 70th percentile on STAAR Reading AND Math or MAP Reading AND Math
- Other approved tests can be found on the DISD Magnet Website
Must complete an onsite interview and critical thinking exam (NNAT3)
